FSMC was registered under the company registration act, 1956 in 2014 by the promoters of FINISH program (Financial Inclusion Improves Sanitation & Health) from India and Netherlands. We believe in creating profit driven by purpose and stive to deliver cost effective products and services to everyone, especially to the last mile.FSMC is currently based in Bhuvneshwar, Odisha and present in 3 states including Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha.We work with a market-based approach by designing localised solutions which can be scaled. We closely work with Businesses, Government, Financiers & Customers in developing need-based solutions. Local micro and small entrepreneurs play a critical role in our business model and are our key partners.
The idea of FSMC evolved from FINISH Program, which was conceptualized and promoted by an Indo-Dutch consortium including representations from TATA-AIG, WASTE and other financial and academic institutions in 2009. To build sustainability of sanitation programs and to expand our impact, the idea of starting a business enterprise in the field of water, sanitation, hygiene and waste management was thought upon and a for profit entity Finish Services Management Private Company (FSMC) Private Limited was set-up in 2014. WASTE, Netherlands supports FSMC as an advisor and knowledge partner. FSMC Pvt. Ltd. is a social enterprise working in the water, sanitation, hygiene and health sector in India.
